Preparing the Way (June 2012)

Enlivenment Newsletter Masthead
June 2012
Preparing the Way

The mind and the body are affected by the quality of our thoughts. Our habitual thinking is the strongest factor when considering the health of the mind and the body. It is common to think that we are subject to the physical and mental conditions, but the opposite is true. It is what we entertain in our minds that determines the conditions that we live in.

As we fine-tune the focus of the mind, and the body rises to a higher vibration, we gain a greater ability to appreciate life. As we clean the temple, or as we clear the debris from our minds by using the Ascension Attitudes, then a completely new vista of human experience unfolds; our destiny to be Divinely Human.

The preparation we are all in now is not to learn something we don't know, not to become something that we are not, but it is simply to be open to what already is, with humility and receptivity, in Praise, Gratitude and Love.

The Personal and the Universal Reality

From the waking state of consciousness (described within the Ascension book by MSI) we look out of eyes that seem to relate to a world that is sometimes in conflict with the personal reality of beliefs and idealism. The idea: "If I were creator of the world and the universe, I would create things differently or at least make some changes," often comes into our thoughts when the personal beliefs conflict with one or more of the many individuals and their choices, in the world around us.

Obviously there are things that could change in our world to reflect a more harmonious and loving way of life, by eliminating the suffering of disease, starvation and political conflicts. What then can one person do to effect a change in our world?

Our thoughts have a profound effect on the world around us. But often our thoughts are not so well organized and focused to bring about the changes we desire in our own lives, let alone the changes that are necessary to bring harmony to a world in conflict with itself.

If we want to build a house to live in, we need to organize our thoughts toward what we want that will serve our lifestyle. It is not the house that makes a home for us, it is our lifestyle and our personality that influences what we fill our house with that makes it a home.

Our body is a home to our individual consciousness, or our soul if you will. There was thought given to creating it and the world that it lives in by your individual (soul) consciousness.

It was not your body that created the individual awareness that makes you unique in and amongst so many individuals in the world. It was your individual consciousness that built the house that it lives in, and that house is your body. Not only is your body an extension or reflection of that consciousness, but the world and all that is in it is an extension of your body. Your house is the body and the world in which you live. It was conceived as you experience it, by you and you alone.

If you remember some of the information that is given in the First Sphere weekend around thoughts, you heard that scientists say we think anywhere between 50,000 to 100,000 thoughts per day. Not all of these thoughts are organized thoughts that follow a pattern or direction that we are consciously aware of. Some of these thousands of thoughts rise into the awareness from the unconscious levels of the mind where they are stored as memories. Some of the memories are stress related, which conflict with our desires to create the world of our dreams on the surface level of thinking. We don't consciously desire to create conflict in the thoughts we have, but we give attention and meaning to thoughts that conflict with each other based on conflicting beliefs. An example would be a belief that good exists and the other that bad exists and conversely conflicts with the good. Our desire to manifest the good for us is influenced by the fear that the bad can affect our desire for good. Our beliefs that these two opposing forces are naturally working against each other is counterproductive and an illusion created by the ego. The reason I say it is an illusion is because relatively speaking what we judge to be bad is subjective, or a judgment of personal beliefs and ideals.

Not everyone agrees on what is good or bad in some cases. Some might see benefits arise from the contrast of experiences that are judged to be bad, yet the experience may inspire one to rise above the conditions that created the experience. If one is successful, the experience is subject to a change in judgment. Everything is subject to the conditions of judgment, and the point of view from the personal opinion, which is evolving and going to change. We could say that personal realities are sometimes in conflict due to varying perspectives in the objective point of view, where everyone sees what they will according to how they will choose to look at it.

This brings up an important part of the subjective and objective experience...Choice... and what it means in the comprehensive study of the world and our relationship to it.

Someone once coined the phrase "EGO... everything goes outward." This meaning that all attention is turned outward on the senses, to see the world as an entity in and of itself, with a power to conflict with the desires of the individual. This is what the Hindu traditionalists in Eastern Philosophy call The Illusion of the Waking State. Because we know from the experience of higher states of consciousness that we form our reality from our thoughts and beliefs, we know that there is merit to this idea of an illusion being created by the outward going senses.

The purpose of Ascension is to rise above the limitations created by the illusions of waking state beliefs that place the world in a position that seems either for us or against us, and as a power greater than our own thoughts. Jesus, during his ministry, taught from his own experience. As an Ishaya, he used to say "If you have the faith of a grain of a mustard seed, you could say "move mountain" and the mountain would move for you." He spoke to this reality as all Ishayas do, that the universe is at the command of Human consciousness. He didn't speak of the consciousness of the waking state ego, but the human presence and awareness that does not identify with the house consciousness built, but that which knows itself as the builder of the house.

The Universal consciousness:

Through the approach to the Ascendant, or the Absolute, we can acknowledge (in our familiarity with the Ascendant), what we sometimes call the Higher Self or Universal Self.

It is always working with all reflections of itself, in the many, many individual personalities in the world around us.

"Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Lift up a stone, and you will find me there" - Gospel of Thomas. This statement is the acknowledgment of consciousness, aware of consciousness within all matter, or awareness of the Ascendant in all things. The acknowledgement and recognition of the Ascendant Presence within all that is.

If you look at the Human body with its millions of cells, all working together to make the body what it is, each cell has its own purpose and its own consciousness. Each cell is aware of itself, as well as the other cells, and the body consciousness of which it is a part of. At a level of our conscious awareness, we are similar to all of these cells in that we make up a much larger body within the Universe itself. Also, we are aware of all of the other individual consciousnesses of personality in the reflection of the ONE Ascendant Consciousness.

We take many directions in our creativity and interaction with all individual personalities at levels of awareness that are foreign to the waking state mind. It is at the level of the waking state that humans who identify with being human, separate from the ONE Ascendant Self (and its infinite reflections), can suffer in the idea that the world and those in it conflict with our personal beliefs and work against us. This is where Ascension is necessary to end suffering and separation.

By taking the mind inward to the Ascendant, the mind begins to saturate itself in an awareness that is not separate with the world, but rather the creator and participant of the evolving and expanding reflections of awareness and choice. Here we leave the conditioning of fear and separation of the ego behind. We do this to reacquaint ourselves with a friend, possibly familiar or unfamiliar and forgotten.

The more we do it the more we know about our friend, and the less of our awareness is left to illusions of fantasy and ignorance.

Immersing the mind in the "Universal Self" puts us on a pathway that is in alignment with all beings everywhere, and in all times and in all realities.

There is no limit to the human condition, unless you limit the human to conditions of temporary ideals and beliefs. It wasn't that long ago that humans believed the world was flat. It wasn't that long ago that doctors believed the body was primary and the mind secondary.

Illusions never changed the bigger reality, only the perceptions of reality. Thinking the world was flat didn't make it so, and in turn thinking we are victims to reality and our bodies does not make it a fact... but it can have an effect on the way we experienced our bodies and our world.

Taking the mind to a greater place than programs of illusion, naturally allows those illusions to fall away and to give us a boost into greater awareness of Self that is not in conflict with the world around us.

We can change our awareness of separated personal universes into the awareness of a Universe that is ONE. It takes very little time and a small commitment to take the time, to make the choices that will change our experience and our way of thinking. One only need to have a desire for change and it will begin. What kinds of change will depend on how organized your thoughts are, and at what level of conscious awareness you make your choices.

"If we could first know where we are, and whither we are tending, we could then better judge what to do, and how to do it... A house divided against itself cannot stand."   -Abraham Lincoln-

Be the Change You Wish to See in the World
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since learning to ascend 6 years ago, I have realized how vital it is to my expansion of consciousness to take time out from my daily life to go inward. During the first sphere in 2006 I heard much talk of 'going inward' and felt I had been doing that for years with my other practices. I had this part down, no problem, I go inward, didn't need to really pay attention to that phrase. I would ascend 3 times a day and that would be enough. Little did I know the power of longer periods of Ascension.

I attended my first week-long retreat 3 months after the First Sphere. It changed everything! No longer was my 3 times a day practice enough. My soul yearned for more. I made a commitment to have longer periods of Ascension during the day and to seek out more retreats. Devoting more time to Ascension has become a vital part of my daily practice.

I had been diagnosed with severe adult ADHD a couple of years before Ascension, so being able to ascend for 20 minutes several times a day was a major feat in itself, let alone Ascending for hours at a time. The amazing thing is the ADHD symptoms have slowly disappeared. My whole world has changed, all relationships have changed because I was 'going inward' in a way I had never experienced before. During that first retreat I could feel the significant power of the attitudes slowly, gracefully, lovingly bringing me back to my-Self. Nothing is more important than that.

I am committed to continuing this inward journey for the rest of my life. Every chance I have to Ascend helps the deep grooves of indoctrinated beliefs lessen their hold. Whether it's an advanced meeting, an all day Ascension, a 3-day retreat, or a week long Intensive, it's continuing to erase the grooves and helping me remember my true essence.

Does it take time? Does it take financial planning? Does it take commitment to arrange things at home? Of course it does; but the benefits far outweigh any of these inconveniences.

As Gandhi so eloquently put it, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Ascension is helping me do this one attitude at a time.

Committing to the Six-Month Retreat & Training Program
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two of the 2012 trainees, Veronika and Ahimsa, shared some of their experiences of participating in the 6-month Advanced Ascension Retreat and Training program (previously known as Teacher Training) recently completed. This discussion took place in the car as they were being taken to the airport on their journey home.

*   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *
Veronika: Very quickly after I learned to Ascend I knew Ascension was something I really wanted to do. The more I Ascended the more clear it became. Last year in July I got the application for the Training. In the beginning my family challenged me quite a bit and on top of that I had many animals to take care of and I did not know what to do with them. But when I made the choice to go and paid the money many things changed. Suddenly the things I had seen as problems were solved and so many people offered their help. And even the ones that did not like me going stopped opposing me. It was a miracle really. My choice made all the difference. That was clear to me. The commitment made all the difference for me. When I stopped worrying and was not split about going, things were easier. In that I realized that everything in my life is created from me.

Ahimsa: It took me a whole year after I learned to Ascend to commit to my desire to come, although I knew right in the First Sphere weekend I wanted to go. First I thought there would be difficulties to make it happen, but I was really surprised how little resistance came from the people close to me or my life circumstances. My greatest challenge was my own thoughts in my own head. I just knew I needed to go although I did not really know much about the Training itself.

Veronika: After the Training I experience more stillness and freedom inside of me. Now there is much less thinking... I used to have at least 2 million thoughts running through... heh. The connection between all things and unity has become clearer to me. My physical body has been through deep healing and changes in these last six months.

Ahimsa: I am very grateful for all the teachers with their support and help that I received throughout the Training. In fact, already before I went to US that was the case. Lot of my challenges were eased because of that support. For example, the lack of English could have been a problem, but I got help and then I trusted that I will get what I need anyway. I don't think my English speaking skills improved very much, but my goal was first and foremost something other than learning the language. I just let the things flow as they did.

Veronika: I felt that commitment helped me throughout the course. I just decided to stay no matter what came up from the inside. The more that I took the challenge to face myself the clearer and deeper my experiences became. When the stress was gone the stillness grew stronger inside of me.

Ahimsa: Sometimes I felt challenged with the stresses as they released, but I would do it all over again because I know now how beneficial it is. I feel great after it is all done. My physical body has also been through a lot of positive changes.

I really want to teach when I go back to Finland and I wish all the people would know about Ascension and the possibilities it opens. This really enlivens me and I do feel like I am just at the beginning of this.

Veronika: If you are thinking of coming to the Training my advice is to just make the commitment. Listen to your own voice in your heart and don't give up!

Ahimsa: My message to those that are considering the Training is just to be clear what you really want and then act on that. With commitment everything manifests.

The 6-month Advanced Ascension Retreat and Training program is designed for anyone that simply desires to become more conscious in knowing the Ascendant and living life more fully from That. This Program also offers the opportunity and requirements to become a qualified teacher of Ascension. During such a time of inward study and focus, one may recognize their desire to dedicate their personal life to the Ishaya path and choose to become a vowed Ishaya Novitiate for the experience of a year. In time, some continue further along their vowed path, some do not. This is not required in order to become a teacher of Ascension. Many have thought it to be so, because so many do choose to become Novitiates of the Ishaya Order.

The path of Enlightenment is navigated by individual choice. Each and every person makes choices for themselves and how they wish to traverse through life. Ascension brings one to a more intimate and conscious connection with the power of Choice. When one returns to a constant awareness of the Ascendant and Conscious Self, life truly... begins to transform. This Program offers the option to take as little or as much of this Teaching as you wish into your life.

If you would like more information or to receive an application for the Program, call us at 888-474-2921 or email aart@theishayafoundation.org.

Our Vision and Purpose:
The vision of the Ishayas is the healing of the world… beginning with the healing of the self.

Helping humanity realize the One Source within all things and to re-awaken our True nature is the reason why the eternal Ishaya Masters have brought forth the Teaching of Ascension in this time of great need; for such a planetary shift in consciousness.

Whether you are a first-time Ascender, a regular Ascender or a teacher of Ascension, we have all experienced the immeasurable power of this Practice! The life opportunities we face may not always be comfortable, but knowing that everything works for our greater good is what brings us a knowing of Unity, and can lead to an inner peace and acceptance of all parts of the world around us. We find there is more clarity of mind, more creativity in life, improved health, expanding love, more stillness and better ability to handle stressful situations.

The sole purpose of The Ishaya Foundation (TIF) is to share this ancient and flawless knowledge of the Ishayas' Teaching of Ascension with the world. TIF does this by publishing the books written by MSI, teaching First Spheres and hosting advanced courses world-wide, offering opportunities for those who want to expand upon their present experience of Ascension. As the world’s consciousness rapidly expands, we have heard from many of you that you want more!

We are always listening and ready to offer what we can in the way of service to all of those who are asking. Our programs are designed to accommodate the growth and experiences of Ascension.

----------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------

The Ishaya Foundation (central) sits on 75 acres in St. James Missouri. This central location includes our office and a small retreat/training facility. Our plan is to build and expand upon the land and our current facilities to accommodate a larger number of Ascenders for our resident course schedules.

Outside of our Central Location in the Midwest United States, for over 15 years now our teachers continue to practice and teach Ascension around the world. We are also expanding the translations of the books written by MSI and publishing them into various languages. We desire people of all cultures and countries, who have an interest to learn about Ascension, to learn from teachers who speak their languages so that they can also experience all the benefits of Ascension that we have experienced.

DONATIONS

One of the ways you can help The Ishaya Foundation in its growth and continuing support of the Ascension community is through your financial support.

Whether it is a one-time donation or a regular pledge, your contributions will help us reach out to more and more people world-wide in the awareness and practice of Praise, Gratitude and Love through the Teaching of Ascension.

Thank you Sponsors

FURTHERING YOUR PRACTICE......
It is by giving to others that we experience what we have and are then open to receive more. This is the heart of Compassion. It is the practical approach that strengthens the connection to our own heart and to the hearts of all others.

Service to Humanity is
the High Road to Unity
-----------------------------
When you help others, you are giving to that part of yourself that extends itself into the world.

Whether you realize it or not, when you enter into service to others and share what you have, you get back what you give, but in greater amounts than you can imagine.

As an organization of practicing "Teachers of Ascension", it is our greatest desire to bring this Teaching to anyone who would use it to expand themselves and others, into the unlimited riches that exist in expanded consciousness.

We do this through the personal instruction of the Ascension Attitudes, by printing and distributing books to further the comprehension and experience of Ascension, and by participating in advanced courses that address the personal experiences of Ascension and the Ascendant Self.

We would like to offer you an invitation and the idea that you can take part in the expansion of this teaching of Ascension in the world.

If you would like to be a part of our projects, please contact us.

There are a number of ways you can be of assistance; such as helping to sponsor courses, assist in translations, make donations, and even add your experiences to our Forum or to this Newsletter.

We All Have
Something
to Give
-----------------------------
We all give. It is part of life. Like breathing out. Sometimes giving happens as naturally as breathing. Someone smiles at you, and you smile back. Sometimes we give based on what feels like obligation, like when the neighborhood child comes to the door selling holiday wrapping paper as a fundraiser for school. Whether we are giving love, time or money with or without effort, it is always a choice, however conscious or unconscious.

A little over a year ago I was serendipitously introduced to the Ishayas and attended a First Sphere Weekend Workshop and began Ascending. Since then, I’ve participated in two more weekend workshops and in September went to the 7-Day Advanced Retreat at their Monastery in St. James, Missouri.

As I’ve grown, I’ve become more conscious in my giving practices and more deliberate. With the help of the Ishayas and the profound shifts that have been subtly occurring within me since I began Ascending, I am able to give even more deliberately from a place of praise, gratitude, and love. I’ve been able to watch as this loving energy miraculously has spread and grown not only within my own life, but throughout the lives of others as well.

So when I saw the opportunity to give back to The Ishaya Foundation, I jumped at the chance. In this case I would be able to give my time, talent and passion for marketing and social media. With the advent of the Internet and the rapid rise of social media and the many new ways of communicating digitally, the opportunity to share the teachings that the Ishayas have carried, protected and shared for millennia is literally mind-boggling. We’ve recently watched entire countries change over night by using these new communication tools.

Imagine that everyone on the planet had the tools to heal themselves, to grow and even to Ascend to an enlightened state of being. In the 21st century this is now possible. Other than doing my part by practicing my own Ascension Attitudes daily, I realized that I could give to all of humanity by helping the Ishayas learn to use the Internet and social media to communicate the Teaching around the globe.

It is not only my profound privilege, but my deep pleasure to give what I have in support of an organization "dedicated to the healing of the world through the healing of the self." We all have something to give — in joy!

Experience Abundance through Ascending and Giving

The universe is a mirror of consciousness. It reflects the essence of what we are, and as humans what we think and feel we are through the beliefs we entertain.

For some people the world is a place of uncertainty, full of possible realities that follow our ideas of fear and suspicion. To others it is a place of infinite wonder and potential, waiting to fulfill our next desire.

What we believe exists and is available, is subjective, or changing due to the changing experiences we have.

Not everyone feels there is an abundance of wealth, health and happiness. Our experiences sometimes convince us that there is something different in the world than these things in abundance. We think this because it can be our experience that there is suffering, disease, unhappiness, famine and poverty. We read about these things in the newspapers, hear about them in our newscasts, and we see and experience some of these things on the streets that we live and travel upon. These experiences are part of what we call reality, or life.

With Ascension comes a desire to see and experience a different outlook into reality. What we approach within the experience of Ascension is already there. It exists in everything around us, and in us.

There is always an abundance of potential or untapped experiences of ourselves and the world around us. What we experience is what we align with in our thoughts and our beliefs.

What we align with in the practice of Ascension is the Ascendant. "Ishaya" means "for Consciousness", or for awareness of our essential nature, or for the Ascendant.

It (the Ascendant) does not lack for anything and it does not want for anything.

It is fullness; it is beyond fullness and beyond any limits of conditioning.

When we align fully with the Ascendant Self, we become aware of what we have forgotten of ourselves, which is more than everything we think we want but possibly do not have or has not seemed available to us.

Infinite wealth, health and happiness is much more than any material thing can give us, and when we step into what is real in the Ascendant Self, there is nothing we cannot realize about ourselves, or achieve in the life experience, or in the material world.

When we are taught to think differently, the reflections of our beliefs are mirrored upon the Ascendant as the world around us. Remember: the mind extends itself as the body, and the body extends itself as the world. Change the mind and you begin to change the body and the world around you.

To change the world, we must change the internal programs of belief in ourselves that are rooted in lack and limitation, or the belief in illusions. We do this by Ascending the limitations, or rising above them into a greater awareness of the Ascendant Self.

Leaving the self-defeating programs of the ego is not so difficult; but the ego is tricky in that it is built upon unconscious habit. Habits are not always in the forefront of our minds and often we are not even aware of the habits we create to follow self-defeating thoughts of limitation and fear.

We must become smarter than the ego and also create a new habit to take the mind into a different direction than that of the old self-defeating programs of habit. We do this through a discipline of focus and intention. With the program of Ascension, we begin by establishing a time and place to take the mind inward.

With commitment and dedication it does not take long to see the results of this practice.

You might ask yourself, "What else can I do besides Ascend three times a day?"

The answer would be to step forward and to help others who might also want what you have learned and achieved in your experience of Ascension and expanding consciousness. By doing this you gain greater insight into what it is that you are giving to others, as the result of your own practice of Ascension.

You can do this by extending your practice beyond the private practice of Ascending at home, by attending advanced courses and Ascension events with other Ascenders.

INVITATIONS OF THE HEART
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I learned Ascension in 2007 and I love this Teaching because I found this Teaching not only helps in dissolving stress in my body, bringing peace to the mind but also to help me to be more clear about what my life is for. Three times, I experienced the invitation to sponsor the printing of the Finnish Ascension books but I didn’t do anything until the last time.

The first time I heard that there was no budget to print the books, at that moment I felt I wanted to give the donation. I didn’t do it because my mind said there could be someone else to do it. The second time, I wanted to donate but my mind said this was a lot of money and the fear came to say, "No, it is better not to give." So, I didn’t do it again. The third time, since I was so enlivened by the Teaching, I knew I would like to spread this valuable T eaching to the world with other languages so that more people can learn to ascend. I talked with my friends about this but they just felt I was crazy and tried to convince me not to do it. As my friends shared their thoughts, I felt those were their own stresses. If there is something in my heart that I really want to do and share with other people, who can stop me? But the ego based judgments about what is right or wrong, good or bad, and the thoughts and worry about the future came to scare me, once again. Finally, I kept choosing for my Ascension Attitudes and just went forward with my desire to give the donation. I was glad that I got this done.

I feel that the invitation to give always comes from my heart desire. If I am not ready, no one invites me towards anything. It’s just like God always invites us to join His Heaven, one time, two times, third, fourth… but we always choose for the opposite, the Hell, the judgments, fear, worry… but He is still waiting for us and keeps inviting us …

NOW is the time to share!!!

GIVING THROUGH SERVICE - an interview with Sattva Ishaya
Sattva is a teacher from Hong Kong and she has been one of the two cooks in the Advanced Retreat and Training this year 2011-2012. She gracefully shared some of her insights from the last few months of being in service to the Ishaya Foundation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Interviewer (I): What is the main thing you have learned from being in service?

Sattva (S): When we close the eyes and get to know the Ascendant we learn to really come from that. I like cycling (the closed-eyes practice for long periods), but open eyes is also very important. It is how to apply Ascension and the things we learn eyes-closed in the daily life, because we don’t have that habit in the waking state. There are too many thoughts. But now I have more practice in letting the inside always come back out. Everyday the experience is different. Sometimes it feels good and sometimes it feels bad, or it feels there is no improvement. But I don’t judge that experience. Experience is just experience. Not good, not bad.

I: What motivates you?

S: Choice. Always it is choice. I feel God gives me more and more, but still lets me choose. I can follow the ego or go with the Holy Spirit. Now I understand why the choice is so important. The humans have their own choice even if we are not aware of this in the waking state. Now everything is clearer and I understand what is the Higher Self and the big choice. Every moment is choice.

I: How is service work part of your practice of Ascension?

S: The Ascension Attitude is the pure thought for our mind. Everyone has their different position. You can do the garden or work in the forest or cook. Service is just service, doing is just doing. For me I can do anything. I don’t compare anything I just do what I need to do. The important thing is we always use the Attitudes and live in the present moment. I just do my part.

I: What has been the biggest challenge?

S: Before I followed the ego and I had many fears. I couldn’t understand English and I couldn’t understand what other teachers were saying. Even in the meetings I felt fear. But now it is just about the Ascendant, using the Attitudes and letting whatever happens happen. If I know I know, if not then not. I am being more present. Every time I am reminded to use the Attitudes. Now I understand more how every feeling, thought and action affect me.

I: What touches your heart the most?

S: This Teaching. Before in Hong Kong, I was Buddhist. I just knew the Buddhist knowledge, but it was not working for me. I knew it was true what they said, but I couldn’t do it. But after learning Ascension and going through Teacher Training, I really understood that MSI is the same as Buddha. There is no difference. Just we live in different countries. Appearances may be different. Being human can be very painful. I was in pain a lot. Ascension has changed my life totally, the Ishayas’ Teaching.

I: How is your life different now from what it used to be?

S: Life is totally different. Before I lived in fear and worry and the body was sick. Inside was a lot of fear. Now, most of the time there is no fear or worry. I have learned how to live more in the present moment, and learned how to receive the universe. It is hard to believe that I have been able to create a new life after 40 years, and now I have more understanding what Ascension is and how to apply that knowledge; to live in the now and to have a different mind and the body. In Hong Kong I can tell other people that Ascension can change their life, not just mine, but anyone’s. Jesus and Buddha showed people it can be done in this human body and today we can also do that. Many people have superstitions in Hong Kong and China. They don’t really understand the Christ and Buddha’s teachings. But now we can really experience what they taught. Everybody can be Christ or Buddha, it is not superstition. Only belief and judgment hold us from that.

I: What role does the Ishaya Foundation play in your life?

S: We need to spread the Teaching around the world. I just do my part. To Hong Kong, to China, to Chinese people. Everyone has their task in this human world. Everyone is the same.

Sponsoring Ascension
I wish more people would learn Ascension. I sponsor my place to provide convenience for the Ascension teachers and new students so that they can smoothly finish a course.

The benefit of sponsoring my place for the teachers and practitioners is to remind myself to regularly practice Ascension, not to be lazy. The gladdest thing is to see the changes of myself and other practitioners. My change is I can adopt or choose to use a new angle to see and deal with those people/things around me. For example, I can let go past experiences and those unhappiest events. The unhappiest event happened in my childhood. In one evening, I saw there was a cargo ship in the sea that attacked a wooden boat carrying 7 or 8 illegal immigrants. The wooden boat overturned, the people inside disappeared. I was frightened and my parents felt sorry about the deceased. Now I have less fear about people. I can feel and accept being loved. I was used to taking the role of caretaker, but now I’ve changed. Changing roles sometimes is a very good thing.

I agree that all the happenings in life have their causes, all for helping myself to grow or to learn to progress. I have also experienced that I must well treat others; what you have done for others will return back to me very soon or in future. Like myself, every one has the same quality – there is love, peace and bliss inside.
